Previous and upcoming projects
Our family has been involved in residential land development and urban food production in and around Greater Manchester for over 30 years. We recently added two family members to our management team, and are now combining these interests to increase our focus on sustainable urban regeneration. Independent food production
Urban farming is becoming increasingly common, as people explore more options for self-sustainable food production. In this project, we installed on-site residential green houses. Residents grew their own lettuces, tomatoes, chillies, aubergines and more.
Residential re-development
Rooted Developments LTD has re-developed a number of residences in the Greater Manchester area, co-ordinating development from derelict building purchase to rental occupancy. These projects include complete internal re-fits, building out-buildings, and landscaping. We have current residence projects in Timperley, Clayton, and Salford.
Land prospecting and urban regeneration
Our team has extensive experience identifying, purchasing and co-ordinating the sale of brownfield sites for re-development across Greater Manchester. New residential apartments have been developed on sites in Stockport, Salford, Cheshire, and Manchester.
Urban poultry farming
Fresh tastes best. In this project, we set up two local poultry farms to supply organic eggs from free range chickens to on-site residents. We built timber framed runs on mixed flagstone and earth floors.
